Several global hospital under-construction in Saudi Arabia: Minister

A number of international-standard hospitals are under-construction in Jeddah and Riyadh, with substantial investments—either direct or through partnerships, Fahd Al-Jalajel, Minister of Health, told Al Ekhbariya TV.

Some of these hospitals will be inaugurated over the coming years, he added.

The Kingdom seeks to increase private sector’s contribution to healthcare to 50% in 2030, versus 38% currently, the minister noted.
